Which would you pick?

I received a spam survey with a question I liked. Given a choice, which would you pick:

  • Take a year off with pay

  • Get a chef/housekeeper for a year for free


I would definitely take the former. If I had a year off with pay, I would gladly clean my own house and cook my own meals. I'm not sure why anyone would pick the second choice over the first.

    Well, if the chef did all the shopping with the cooking, it might be closer. After all, taking a year off from a job you like means finding another job. Since I currently like my job, I might choose differently. Probably not, though.
