Solo adventuring

Yesterday, my church group sponsored a trip to Beech Hill Farm, west of Concord, NH. There were animals to commune with, some crafts and antiques to ogle, corn mazes to get lost in, and ice cream to eat.

Afterwards, I swung by the Mill Brook Gallery's outdoor sculpture garden. Really cool.

I went on my own. I probably could have cajoled husband and son to come along, but I would have had less fun dragging them around. Click on either picture to see more from each diversion.

Yay, goats! I desperately want to raise a few dairy goats, but my husband won't hear of it, the spoilsport. Glad you had fun; I agree that wandering around looking at animals isn't nearly as much fun if there's somebody sighing heavily at your elbow.

Looks wonderful. We're off to Cox Farm Va tomorrow. R still young enough to successfully drag around.

After going to NYC with a party of 5 I've decided that going somewhere alone would be a good idea. You can do what you want at the pace you want. Glad you had a fun time.
