I'm feeling like a slacker for not having blogged in a while. I'm trying to behave and stay focused on my studying for my CISSP. Hopefully, I'll be ready to come back here with good news or (at least) good vibes after the test this weekend.

Well, don't stress after the exam either. You can feel like you have done poorly when you've actually passed :)
And even if you don't pass, it just means you're not quite at the level you need to be yet. More study...
More study?
OMG! I would sooner poke out both my eyes and amputate my own arms. I gave up the better part of my summer studying for this horrid exam. They didn't even ask questions from the materials. They asked obtuse, poorly worded, scenario-based questions with answers that didn't make half as much sense as the questions themselves.
I was usually able to eliminated two of the four answers as completely psychotropic. Then, basically, I would ask myself "What would a non-technical manager on crack recommend?"
If I don't pass, I'm in a quandry, since I kind of need this certification. If I do pass, how am I supposed to respect a certification whose qualifying exam makes no freaking sense what-so-ever?
I'm late, you've already taken the test but I'll send good vibes. You worked hard studying and I'm sure you'll pass with flying colors! Now relax and enjoy what's left of the summer.
